Vancouver Mission 2026
The Executive Director is touring the country to learn more and engage us in the Cohabitat movement in Canada.
Born out of a desire to introduce co-living as an innovative living environment for seniors in Quebec, Cohabitat Village VITAL is currently working on developing a business model. Each development will offer a minimum of 24 rental housing units, as well as common areas available to residents. In the medium term, the goal is to create a “senior village” in each of the six RCMs in Lanaudière. The concept is intended to be replicated by other senior groups in Quebec.
About us
Cohabitat Village VITAL is a nonprofit solidarity cooperative composed of user members (tenants) and supporting members who support the organization’s mission. The board of directors also includes external members.
The ‘VITAL’ values
Cohabitat Village VITAL welcomes you! Beyond the standard administrative requirements, anyone wishing to become a member is asked to adhere to a code of values that includes respect, kindness, and solidarity.
